Full-matrix least-squares refinement( nonhydrogen atoms anisotropic, H atoms isotropic)based on l92l reflexions led to a final R of 0.045. 4 Hydroxynornantenine is a noraporphine-tipe alkaloid.The N and attached atoms form a reasonably planarn system which imples sp2 hybrididization of the N atom and conjugation with the carbony of the N-acetyl function €arbonyol f the N- ¡cctyll unct ion.
