Abstract

The effect of the siliconate adyuvant trisiloxano + poliéter (break) at different concentrations of 50, 75 and 100 cc/hl was studied during the 2005-2006 season in two commercial wineyards Metropolitan Region, which were infected with obscure mealybug along the season previous preharvest. Chlorpyrifos (Cyren 48 EC, 120 cc/hL) were considered previously to the brunch of grapes closing (summer) and during post harvest, and plus diazinon (Diazinon 40 WP 120 g/hL ) during the spring, whith a standard treatment without surfactant and an a control design with no application were considered also. A completely randomised block with 5 treatments, 5 replicates and 24 plants/experimental unit was used. The evaluation was conducted during the harvest over 100 brunchs of grapes/experimental units. The values expresed in safe brunchs of grapes percent were normalized according Bliss angular transformation . They were studied under analysis of variance and Tukey test. The conclusion was that under the study’s conditions the different Break concentrations don’t affect the treatments efficacy expressed in percent of safe brunches of grapes.
