With the arrival of the key competences of the 21st century, it is of utmost importance to have a teacher with the necessary competences to incorporate digital technologies in their teaching-learning process. Educational models consider digital technology technology in management and training processes, to effectively respond to the new needs of their students. However, the necessary information on the level of digital competence of its teachers is not available, an element that is recognized as central to improving the teaching-learning processes. The objective of the present investigation is to determine the level of digital teaching competence (CDD) of the academics of the Nursing career of the Faculty of Clinica Alemana Santiago - Universidad del Desarrollo and analyze their perceptions of the factors involved in their academic development. A mixed study of sequential explanatory design was carried out using quantitative and qualitative information collection strategies organized in two phases: 1) quantitative phase through the application of a self-applied questionnaire that contains the rubric instrument or matrix of evaluation of Digital Competence Professor of university teaching staff adapted to the Latin American context of Lázaro, Gisbert & Silva (2018) and subsequent analysis; 2) Qualitative Phase, in which discussion groups were used to deepen their perceptions and beliefs about factors that affect the formation of CDD of teachers in the Nursing career and interpret potential facilitating factors and / obstacles. Regarding the qualitative approach, 63 teachers were evaluated with an average age of 34,73 (SD 9,1), with a percentage of majority teaching practice between 0 to 5 years (53,69%). 52,38% of the sample presented training in educational technologies. Once the adjustment to normality was evaluated (Shapiro Wilk, significance level of 0.05), a statistically significant relationship was obtained (Kruskal-Wallis test, significance level of 0.05) between the medians of the years of exercise variables. teacher and level of development of digital competence with digital inclusion (p = 0.043); free access to information, creation and dissemination of didactic material with open licenses (p = 0.047) and identity and digital presence (p = 0.019). In relation to the comparison of the variable training in educational technologies and the level of development of digital competence, the descriptors that obtained statistical significance (U Mann-Whitney test, significance level of 0.05), significance level of 0.05) correspond to D1.6 methodological line of the academic unit (p = 0.012) and D4.5 personal learning environment (p = 0.031) In relation to the quantitative interpretive approach, it is obtained within the factors perceived by teachers as obstacles, including time, discomfort, and the attitude of students to methodologies with the use of technology. On the other hand, the facilitating factors are grouped into: teacher empowerment and motivation; support from the university; teamwork; and collaborative and communication. An emerging category emerged from the analysis of the interviews: the teacher's attitude about the student's digital competence. A theoretical scheme is proposed for the incorporation of digital competence by the teacher that includes three loops: didactic, curricular and methodological according to student learning in the XXI century....

Absenteeism to classes is a problem at university level, which is especially worrying when faced with changes that have been made in the curriculum, a new model that proposes student-centered learning, with autonomy, commitment and responsibility in Its learning process, a situation that can impact not only in the educational field but also in the social, economic and personal space of students. This research, through a validated questionnaire, investigates the factors that refer 106 nursing students from the first to the third level, not attending classes, considering aspects demographic partners, those related to the teaching that is taught, the organization of Studies and personal and family aspects. According to these, the main results are related to the group of students who work and do not work. The results show that the main absenteeism factors are time overload, they have to study too much, written reports overload, do not sleep well, need time for other courses and the methodological aspects related to the teaching imparted . There is only one statistically significant difference in the relation between the group of students who work and do not work, in table number two "I do not attend classes because too many contents are given”. The foregoing will be relevant information for future proposals to improve this educational process, and to continue with research in depth according to results obtained. Keywords: absenteeism, university studies, education, academic overload....
